Starlight (The Supermen Lovers song)
"Starlight" is a song by French house project The Supermen Lovers. It was the first single from the album The Player and was released in the first quarter of 2001 (third quarter in the UK). It became a hit in Norway, New Zealand, and Belgium (Wallonia) where it reached the top ten, and it even peaked at number 2 in France and United Kingdom. It reached number one on the Irish dance singles chart.
The song is built on a sample of the 1978 disco song "The Rock" by East Coast; the introduction bass comes from the ending of the 1982 song "Abracadabra" by Steve Miller Band.
